Loretta Radeschi has a passion for writing and a love of tactile arts and llamas. It’s not surprising.

Since 1971 she’s been married to the award-winning and nationally-known woodworker George Radeschi, whose works are in museum, corporate and private collections worldwide. As a writer for newspapers and magazines since 1977, she has written nearly a thousand articles about fine crafts and their makers. Her articles have been published in the US, Canada, Australia and Europe. She’s taken her experience in marketing to teach artists, through her articles, books, seminars and workshops, how to promote themselves and their work.

COMING SOON, a web page of her one-of-a-kind baskets. Native American culture, especially the Cherokee and Choctaw, the landscapes of Pennsylvania’s ridges and valleys, and her interest in the outdoors are manifested in her baskets. In her original designs she might use iris and cattail leaves, feathers, honeysuckle, willow branches, and a variety of other materials, including yarn, leather and copper.

Her love of llamas came about serendipitiously, and is now a passion.  It began when she and George purchased two llamas as companions to their horse, Buddy. When she is not taking the llamas to public events to educate the public about these amazing animals, Loretta delicately needle-felts by hand  fleece ornaments, soft sculptures and  one-of-a-kind pictures.

Loretta resides in Bedford, Pennsylvania with her husband, George, and their horse, llamas, and cats.
